Default tech biases

its it wrong to think
nvidias line of technological thinking
is in the face of every other part of the hardware industry where amd/intel/ati have made strives to keep voltages and heat low nvidia seems happy just cramming more voltage consumption and heat generation at all time highs?

is that incorrect?

iv knowticed to accompany nvidia high end graphics setup you require atleast a pro case with all sorts of heat removal and a 100$ish price tag over a 29.99 generic case

as well as iv knowticed having a large nvidia card in a generic case with the power supply hanging from the top inside the case all the nvidia heat is getting sucked into the psu adding to the psu's over all temprature?

then again recommended psu for nvidia video tech is useually 50-100volts higher than an competator equivlent.

is this wrong?

and i suppose the larger nvidia pricetag is just to make up extra profits to perpetuate their so called "life long warrantee" against defective product?"

that can't be right

and iv noticed some Round finned heatsinks here and there useually on an intel. round 360Degrees of heat dissapation in every direction? would not it be best to have the heat sink fan vectoring heat between fins facing towards the back exhaust of the case?

I prefer Linux Mint over Macs.

It is a pain in the ass, a computer overheating is more dangerous than any virus. Even though most viruses can't do any permanent damage to a computer, if hardware fries from extreme heat, it's like dropping some KCN into someones food. That's it, it's worth 2c for the silicon deposit if you're lucky.

I used to like MadCatz products, but they had a short shelf life, and even though they were quality products, they had the lifespan of a mayfly.

agreed madcatz products buttons lacked longevity after like 200 presses buttons became sticky and spongey.

just think its funny nvidia makes a performance card its x2 the wattage x2 the size.

ati makes a performance card its still taking 15% less wattage easily staying atleast 1" smaller in all aspects

and only 75% of the heat generated

i like tech that stays with the ATX format and doesnt forcement to upgrade case/psu to acomodate

i mean crossfire ati's running fine on 550watt/600 watt while nvidias telling you to go out and shell 200$ out on a 800/1000 watt psu Nooo dice!

i'll stick with my easily replaceable Grey box psu's so far they havent done me wrong.

intel/nvidia combos are good intel picks up the slack where nvidia leaves off and nvidia bogarts the intel for its own purpose as oppose to ati's gpu taking most of the hit when gaming/movie watching leaving the amd cpu free to chug along as they do.

but i suppose with nvidias psy-x! future unsure there even more wonkey now adayays.

It aint right but so far thats how nvidia makes them selvs out to be a struggling tech cram trying to push there un innovated technology further by sucking more wattage and more and more transistors and heat generating diodes on their mammoth sized silicon boards.

instead of properly innovating. also nvidia sucks i hate being intrrupted by their ingame commercials

nvidia the way its ment to be Payed!

i dont play that way i want stuff that works and doesnt grub my pockets of extra $ to make an initial purchase.
and isnt always in my face with advertisements.

plus im in canada ati may have been bought but its a previously canadian company and i can dig that.

then again if s3 was purely a canadian company id probably wave their flag in frustration and hope that they make something and stop building products with Suck baked in to them.

to counter the pro nvidia claim yes ati is under powererd probably production out sourced and doesnt have a life time warrantee on their products and probably dont sponcer as many gaming clans as nvidia probably does. but then again nvidia has always been over advertising its positives to blind their buyers into thinking they are making advancements but..instead just gigantosizing their product. Power for sure tho.. after the 100fps mark is that kinda power even noticable after 100 fps your just heating your house then "imo"

feel free to chime in on how ati drops the ball in the market id like to know some ati biases
