Default Laptop or Desktop Gaming?

Which is better, or which do you prefer? Laptop or desktop gaming rigs?

Well it's a definite personal preference for me and not a technical one.

I use laptops because I love being able to set up and play anywhere I want to in my home. I like the feel of the keyboard and I really like the small portable mice you can use as compared to those big clunky heavy "gaming" mice.

But in all honesty and fairness a well built desktop machine would beat the pants off of any laptop n terms of performance. There's just so much more you can do and or get away with in a desktop machine. More cooling options, more space, bigger and better components. The new KILLER nic card for example . And of course all the biggest, baddest graphics cards are built for desktops first, then later their equivalent comes out for laptops.

Desktops are more customizable after they're built, so you can change things up.

I'd go for desktop as well. I use a laptop for gaming however, mainly because it's what my parents got me for the holidays last year. Plus, I like playing wherever whenever, plus I do a lot of web work so it's nice to work wherever as well.
